1. Who We Are
Hopper Hub is a bakery management platform that helps small bakeries manage inventory, production, orders, and finances. References to “Hopper Hub,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy refer to the Hopper Hub service and its operators.

2. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address, display name, and a hashed password (or authenticate via a magic link — we never store your password in plain text).
Bakery and business data
The platform stores the data you enter to run your bakery, including:
- Business name and settings
- Ingredients, products, and recipes
- Orders and customer names/contact details
- Production batch records
- Financial transactions and categories
- Photos attached to orders (stored securely in private cloud storage)
This data belongs to you. We process it only to operate the service on your behalf.
Team member information
If you invite team members, we store their email addresses and role assignments within your bakery account. Invited users consent to account creation when they accept the invitation.
Payment information
Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own Privacy Policy. We store only your subscription tier and status.
iOS in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple’s Privacy Policy governs those transactions.
Usage and technical data
We collect basic technical information necessary to operate the service, including IP addresses (for authentication and abuse prevention), browser type, and error logs. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell usage data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Provide, operate, and improve the Hopper Hub platform
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Send transactional emails (team invites, password resets)
- Send product updates or announcements — you can opt out at any time
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your bakery business data to train AI models or for any purpose other than operating your account.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in the United States using Supabase (database and file storage) and served via Vercel (application hosting). Both providers maintain industry-standard security practices.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your bakery’s data is enforced at the database level — team members can only access the bakery they belong to.
No security system is perfect. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@grumpybun.com.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only with the sub-processors required to operate the service:

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and bakery data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., billing records may be kept for up to 7 years per standard accounting requirements).
You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting privacy@grumpybun.com.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data (CSV export is available within the app on paid plans)
- Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link in every email)

8. Cookies
Hopper Hub uses cookies and local storage strictly to operate the service — specifically for authentication session management. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
Hopper Hub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove the account promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify active users by email and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
